Beside an expected receipt, record what must happen first and who can confirm it. This makes a changing assumption easier to find before it becomes a financing decision. My latest commentary applies that discipline to customer orders, overlapping cash needs and the payment clock. It is an educational perspective, not a forecast of a particular business’s results.

Beside each refinance estimate, record its source, date, conditions and the person responsible for confirming it. Separate a quoted amount from proceeds available after closing requirements. If the payoff, valuation or timing changes, identify which conclusion must be revisited rather than repeating the original number. My new cash-gap analysis offers a practical starting point for that review. This is educational commentary, not a financing quote.
